Frisco or San Francisco. Denver or Dallas. It doesn't matter where you're from. If you've skied here, you've been raised on some of the best Colorado has to offer. For generations, people have valued a down-to-earth ski experience that puts friends, family and a relaxed mountain atmosphere above all else. It's why the Colorado front range has always considered Copper the home team, and why families from across the globe call Copper home. The place you go for a mountain experience that's refreshingly void of pretense. Wherever your home address may be, if you've skied here, you've been raised on Colorado. Welcome home.

We used to cycle "copper" in and out of our summit county ski trips. Now we almost ski exclusively here. Breckenridge has become a ski area for the wealthy and keystone is close behind. Copper is just as good and you can get some really good deals here. Look for the 4 pack they sell. If you don't live in... More

I visited Copper Mountain last week and had a really good experience. Rick (one of the guys watching over people skiing/boarding on the mountain) was VERY helpful to my group of beginner skiers. He basically gave one of the people in my group their own private lessons so they could make it down the mountain. Such beautiful sites and such... More

I love everything about Copper. It's rarely as crowded as the rest of the ski resorts and the runs are long. The mountain is perfectly divided between beginner, intermediate and difficult runs. The more challenging side has short lines and a high speed chair so I get plenty of runs in before noon. I've been to almost every ski area... More

We hadn't been to Copper Mountain in 10 years. Had skied Breckenridge, A Basin and Keystone many times. A trip over this time was well worth it. Runs groomed nicely . Plenty of selection of difficulty levels. Parking and busses worked well. Had a great experience. Will include in future years.

Perfect size mountain with everything from beginners to advanced. I'm a snowboarder and found the whole mountain totally accessible. Half the time we had pistes to ourselves and no lift queues (a far cry from our European equivalents). No snow all week has started to take its toll and a few patches becoming icy..but with 6 degrees and gorgeous sunshine... More

Our first Colorado ski trip took us to Copper Mountain and we will definitely return. As intermediate skiers, we loved the variety of runs and the lift lines moved quickly. Stay in Center Village if possible, to maximize time on the Mountain. Staff was friendly and helpful and the runs were well groomed and felt wide open even with lift... More

While everyone else heads to Breckenridge, Vail or Steamboat, we head to Copper Mountain. Why? It's under-rated and most people think that day-trippers from Denver pack the slopes. I'm not sure I want to correct that assumption. It doesn't seem to be that busy, even when crowded because many opt to pay for the speedy pass. Purchasing one can get... More

I just got back from a weekend with my two sons (15 & 9). We're all green level skiers and found lots of runs to keep us occupied, in both warm and snowy conditions this weekend. We stayed in Center Village at Passage Point, which was an easy walk with equipment to the American Eagle lift or American Flyer lift... More

We were a little worried that we were getting too much snow. Our first day of skiing was a little rough because of all the snow - all the fresh powder mixed in with groomed trails making it a whole difficult start-stop deal for us Eastern skiers. But by Thursday and Friday the sun came out and the mountain was... More
