Always lots to do and see in OCC no matter the time of year. Of course for the locals, it is better when the tourists are home. Always decorated beautifully.

There is something for everyone. There are many different shops and several places to eat along the avenue. There is a free parking lot on 26th street which is right in the middle. Great place to check out, and also support local small businesses.

Christmas shopping? Need some jewelry repaired or polished? Enjoy looking at art? Or just looking for some good eats or drinks? You can find it all, with some refreshing variety, in Old Colorado City – a far cry from the overcrowded shopping malls this time of year. Food-wise, you can find standard American as well as Cuban, Greek, Italian and... More

Whenever we have friends or family visiting we make a trip to Old Colorado City. So many historic buildings, the Michael Garman Gallery, Thunder and Buttons to have lunch and a cold adult beverage. Old Colorado City is not to be missed and very easy to get to.

I live outside of Colorado Springs and generally get to Old Colorado City a couple times a year for shopping and browsing. There are some wonderful "Shop Small" businesses here with an eclectic variety of clothing, jewelry, housewares, and gifts. Many surprisingly affordable options! They could use a few more casual dining options for shoppers. Metered street parking, but free... More

Today, you can travel to any state in USA, get off the highway, and find the chain stores and restaurants all look alike, you can't tell the difference between Alabama and Maine. The old city, and Manitou Springs have shopping unlike other areas of Colorado. Eclectic shops line several streets, if you are without kids, you can shop all day,... More

If you enjoy shopping local this is a great neighborhood to visit in the Springs. There are small fashionable shops and galleries along with western art and a few t shirt/tourist spots. Something for everyone. Plus several good lunch options including nearby Garden of the Gods deli. No chains.

This part of town is a warm and inviting area. It has various shops that will appeal to about everyone. They offer many things from the "t-shirt deal" to the expensive piece of art. The people there are friendly and knowledgeable about the community. There are several different places to eat along the way. We enjoyed the area just know... More
