Happy hour

Everything was ordinary. Nothing made me want to return any time soon. Inexpensive. Downtown address made it very convenient. Nice to have valet parking.

The food was mediocre at best. They have NO ONSITE brewing. The offerings were mainly mass produced beer, and some limited micro brews. Do not go based on the name. They were just bought out and the "brewery" was closed down according to our server. He claimed it was "to expensive" to operate.

Excellent food and service. Suggest you have reservations. They serve just about any kind of drink with dinner. Place is clean and you do go down steps from the sidewalk that lead into the restaurant. Lighting is somewhat dim and atmosphere is good.

The food here was no better than Golden Corral. I commented on them in my Antlers Hotel review. Place looks nice but the quality of the food is not at all what I expected of a fancy restaurant. The pork chop I had was pathetically small

I met up with friends to chat and have appetizers at Judge Baldwin's in the Antlers Hotel. This visit was in the evening during the week so there were the only a few patrons in the bar/restaurant. I ordered the house chardonnay and the short rib tacos. The three pint sized tacos are served open faced which led me to... More

We've settled in here more that I care to admit. They handle room service for a big hotel. Our lobster bisque arrived warm, we sent it back and it was presented on new plates hot. We split the ham and cheese sandwich "Brie and apple!" But they were out of Brie and the apple was not flavorful. This bar has... More

Service is dead. Bartender at Judge Baldwins refused to recommend anywhere or anything in the area (Leroy). Odd. Dirty glass and sticky bar. Avoid this bar. Food under done and a hassle about when was appropriate to turn on NCAA game day prior. Will not return or recommend to others. Gave it 2 chances and massive fail on both occasions.

I met some old friends downtown and we had a hard time figuring out where to go for dinner with all the choices, but we decided on Judge Baldwins as it was highly recommended by one of my friends. I am very happy that we went with this choice because everything was up to our expectations. We had great food,... More

Although it is conveniently located in the Antlers Hilton hotel, if you are staying there, just walk across the street. The drinks are cheap but very small. The food is not special in any way and is pricy. The seating is uncomfortably placed and the lights are so bright it hardly feels like a bar. Also it closes at 11pm.... More

As a local who eats out fairly often in the downtown springs area, I can't say enough about Judge Baldwin's. Very comfortable ambience, great friendly service, and arguably the best burgers in town. Also, as a New England native who is pretty snobby about seafood, their lobster bisque is as good as anything I've had on the coast of Maine.... More
