We always try to find local chocolate shops while traveling. We stopped here after visiting Garden of The Gods. Very good chocolate , not the absolute beat I have ever had but really good . But what was the star was their regular popcorn. Simple and cooked in coconut oil. I wasn't even planning on buying popcorn and walked out... More

What a fun behind-the-scenes tour of a legendary local establishment! Patsy's has been around since 1901 and provides all of the chocolates to The Broadmoor Hotel. It is an old-fashioned chocolate factory that also makes taffy, popcorn, and other treats. The tour was informative with multiple samples. We bought a lot of sweets in the front of the store after... Our family had fun on the tour of Patsy's Candies. There was lots of interesting facts and information, but the best part were all the samples. Yum! We were even lucky enough to meet the grandson of the founder of Patsy's. Be prepared to buy some of those yummy treats after the tour in their candy shop. **Tour is free.... More

Grandparents, daughter, son, and 3 grandkids visited in July '16. They showed us the equipment used to make chocolates and taffy while explaining the process of making both delicious treats. It was nice to see how these delectables were made the old fashioned way vs the automated, corporate way. Samples were of course enjoyed.

We thought this would be a neat experience for the kids. We chose the afternoon tour, arriving about an hour early. The woman behind the counter was very helpful and was very informed of the entire candy making process. The tour was the eye opening process. Not at all what we expected in a candy making factory. The tour is... More

This is a candy shop and factory near the Garden of the Gods. Surprisingly there was a big crowd there, so call in advance. They offer a tour through the factory, highlighted by samples of their products along the way.

The tour guide was very nice and friendly. She did a good job explaining the different methods they use in their candy factory. We got to sample a few of their products which was really good and having to wear a hair net was just icing on the cake haha. Overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been a regular customer at Patsy's for years because the popcorn and candy products are very tasty. My recent visit Will be my last as the price of a small box of plain popcorn has doubled or almost SO. I believe they are using smaller boxes also.

Nothing beats walking into a candy shop and seeing genuine manufacturing on-site -- not just dipping strawberries in chocolate in a display window -- and Patsy's is the real deal. We selected a variety of chocolates while savoring the store's aroma, and ended up regretting not getting more. The prices are very reasonable for very delicious candy. We're going to... More
