The tour of this castle and its history is quite fascinating, from the story of the man who built it in 1903 to how The Navigators were able to purchase this property. General Palmer was a Civil War veteran and railroad baron who was an...More

My daughter and I had tea at the castle. The rest of the family wasn't interested. The ambiance was perfect, service was great, and food was good. As with any tea, the food quantity was fairly small. Lots of tea options to choose from. Each...More

We had a great time learning about the history of the castle/town and checking out the beautiful grounds. Definitely the most bang for your buck since the other attractions we had visited were double or triple the price of this one and we enjoyed it...More

Interesting family, railroad and Colorado Springs history. Beautiful grounds to walk after a tour. Disabled access as the house has an early elevator. Tours at 10, 12 and 2. They also have a tea. Rooms available in the main house and elsewhere on the grounds.

I would say that it is handicapped accessable but probably not super friendly. it is an old building, narrower hallways, cobble stones and hills.
