I have lived in Colorado Springs for over thirty years and I have visited the Castle on many occasions. However, since the days of my youth I must admit that I am disappointed by this attraction. The castle is gloomy and very run down. There...More

Glen Eyrie is a magnificent castle with beautiful grounds and the opportunity to see the wonderful rock formations---the place backs up Garden of the Gods. The tour was interesting and 90 minutes long. The best part was walking around and spotting the big horned sheep....More

This Tudor style castle was built by Gen. Palmer for his wife. She didn't like the area, and moved back East. It's now a conference center, and you can cater events there, have tea there, or take guided tours. Worth seeing.

Very interesting tour and the grounds are beautiful. I was unfamiliar with the origination of Colorado Springs or the background on General Palmer and his wife Queen. The tour was very informative, and the castle is very interesting. Be sure to pick up a copy...More

I organized a women's outing at this location for tour and tea. We were not disappointed. The tour was informative and taught us a lot about Colorado Springs origination and history. The tea was a very enjoyable experience as well. I would definitely recommend!

I would say that it is handicapped accessable but probably not super friendly. it is an old building, narrower hallways, cobble stones and hills.

Yes. You must book either a tour or a tea to get onto the grounds. The tour price is, I believe, the least expensive option. They also offer many concerts and special events at very reasonable prices for the quality. There... More
