The kids loved the unusual and diverse equipment on the playground. Nice view from the sculpture and wide open space for sports. Nice picnic and restroom facilities. Would get a five rating except for the location, a little sketchy but no problems. I wouldn't go here at night.

A really fun and great place for family events happening year round. Pretty good parking too, but be sure to lock your car and maybe even stay within eye view of it. Not a place you want to visit after dark, as the homeless camps are all along the Fountain Creek nearby, and these hundreds of free loaders scavenge anything... More

I love to take the kids there during the summer because the fountain is on and they can splash in the water. Nice big grassy area to spread out a blanket and picnic or sun bathe. Wish people would keep a better eye on their kids and dogs though. There have been too many times where we've had random kids... More

This park is clean & the kids love the playground & open field! The only part that is concerning as a parent is there's a few homeless people that like to hangout there too. I've never seen them bother anyone, but they hang around the bathroom area- so I always would caution make sure you follow your kids to the... More

Unfortunately this park is now the home of vagrants' who try getting money from visitors. Not well kept and a disappointment to the citizens of Colorado Springs.

Great for little ones. The sculpture is a fountain with shallow water area. Bathing suits if want or shorts OK and a fun playground for kids.

He have been here many times over the years. In the summer the kids can play in the water from the fountain. There is also a large grassy area and a playgound. The only issue is that it can be crowded and A LOT of the children are unsupervised and destructive, the lifeguard was contently have to ask kids to... More

This is a great downtown park with a wonderful playground. Has restrooms and in the summer the fountain is the place to cool off. The park is right along a major north south bike path and is a good place to start a family ride from. There is usually plenty of parking, just make sure there is not a special... More

My daughter loved this park. Between the grass to run free in and the top notch playground, she was in heaven. In a few years when she's bigger, the water feature will be fun for her too. A few sketchy characters were nearby, but what do you expect for a park near downtown. That's why parents need to keep an... More

The park is meant to highlight a great aspect of Pikes Peak, which it does well. However, the park is frequented by homeless people (and no, I'm not unfairly bashing homeless people). I've personally witnessed these folks urinating against the walls of the building at the park, dropping trash right next to a trash can, and camping in the area... More
