We travel to Colorado once a year and like to surprise the kids with horseback riding trips when possible. This was, by far, the best trip. The scenery is amazing, the trails are fantastic, the horses are well trained and you couldn't ask for a...More

Amazing people, and an amazing ride. There is so much to say about the establishment and the people that run it... but words cannot describe it all. The scenery was incredible and Jenny our guide, and Laurie were the sweetest people I've ever met!!!

As an experienced rider and horse owner, I love finding stables that truly love their animals. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the horses were healthy and knew their jobs. It was a beautiful day for a breathtaking ride in the mountains. I...More

As many of you have seen, my husband and I ride here frequently. We are local and it is cheaper for us to rent a horse rather than owning one :-) This time we rode on a trail that we had not ridden on before....More

Surprising adventure. The 5 mile drive on the dirt mountain road was thrilling all by itself. Your literally driving up the side of the mountain with no guard rails. Being afraid of heights it was spooky. The stables and the staff were so friendly and...More

What the age restrictions? We have a 7 year old son that would love to go with his parents...?

Seven year olds are tricky. If you feel the child has the ability, with instructions, to control the horse, then we can all go together. If the child is small for their age or timid, they might have trouble steering and... More

We are happy to make a reservation and if the sun shines and the trails are good, we can ride. It is possible, but weather plays a big part. If we can't ride, we can help with back up ideas. Thank you for writing, and if... More

Hello. I know it was asked before, but I didn't know if the time of year makes a difference. What is the weight limit on the horses? My husband is around 300 lbs and I'm around 210. We are planning on the first week in February. Any other suggestions for us? Thanks!
