This a brand new very fancy campground with very that appears to have been designed by someone who never camped a day in their life. The roads are paved, and the very large and comfortable bathrooms are 1/4 mile away. Although the park is quite spacious, the RV sites are bunched together so close that if your neighbor sneezes, you'll... More

Spent 3 yrs at Ft. Carson with a daily view of this mountain, and went back 30 yrs later for an Army reunion! Of course, spent time taking pics while driving through and enjoying many good memories!

Great state park. Beautiful setting. From our camp site could look down and see Colorado Springs and south toward Pueblo. Turn around and look up the mountain and see the entrance to NORAD. The camp sites are spacious and fully equipped with full hookups. The are three levels on with to choose a site and nearly all have a view.... More

Mountains have a way of providing us peace and comfort and Cheyenne Mountain just does that. A place to pass the time in peace, reflection, either by oneself or with family or friends.

The national park is awesome. Best to go in warmer weather. Lots to do, pack a picnic lunch and enjoy.

The state park system is so nice. Very nice visitors center and the trails are well marked and easy to find. We did a 3 mile hike that was through pine forests and good aerobic workout. Saw a family of deer. A pleasant day.

Cheyenne Mountain is one of the most iconic mountains in Colorado Springs. From it's history in native american folklore to it's association with the NORAD complex, it is a place worth looking at. Off of Hwy-115 and across the main gate of Fort Carson exists the Cheyenne Mountain State Park, a place where you can camp, hike, and explore the... More

Wasn't really planning on going here, just started exploring and ended up on the mountain. Glad we did! We will return for hiking, camping, horseback riding and whatever else is presented to us at the time.
