Beautiful place

Beautiful mountain lake. Not the biggest lake but great for hiking, picnicking or fishing. Pretty close to town and worth the drive out there.

We probably had high expectation because I read all the good reviews. It wasn't worth the drive to the lake for us.

This lake has plenty of room for boating (non-motorized), kayaking, paddle-boarding, tubing, fishing, and hiking. Right now there is BEAUTIFUL Autumn colour!

The drive there is not great but as soon as you reach your destination, the views will take your breath away. Great place for camping, fishing, picnic and exploring with kids.

The lake is lovely however small.Worth a look around leave changing time. Lots of lakes in Colorado look just like this and are about the same size.

It is a fairly small lake and we saw some log cabins around it that is possibly for rental in the main season. There is paid parking ($7) if you will go for a hike or fish. Overall beautiful even in pouring rain while you watch the clouds moving in.

Easy access, stunning views. Needs restrooms at lake, however. Mostly a family-friendly lake with excellent fishing.

This little lake is really a beautiful stop when in the Buena Vista area. It can be busy, but there are plenty of peaceful spots to enjoy.

Nice little mountain lake. Drove to the summit of Cottonwood Pass and decided to stop by the lake on the way down. Pretty bumpy road getting there. Was probably a gem at one time. Too many people for such a small lake and the area around it has too many ATVs.
