The welcome center was our first stop when we arrived in Breckenridge. The lady at the desk gave us a map and went over where we could find different things. She gave us the times different places and things open and we were on our way. The welcome center has public restrooms and a nice little museum that tells about the history of Breckenridge. It's a really cool spot!

This past weekend I entered the visitor center for information on riding the gondola. When I walked in, there was a man leaning on the counter with his back to me. He barely turned around when I walked in. I asked if he worked there and he said yes. He looked annoyed and bothered. No name badge, no "welcome to Breckenridge, how can I help you?", no smile; just an annoyed look on his face. I asked him about the gondola and he told me it was closed for the season. I felt as though I was the visitor inconveniencing him at the visitor center. That sure left a bad taste in a town I really liked. I always make sure good employees are recognized, and in this case I think poor employees should be recognized as well. You can do better, Breck!

Friendly people to ask questions of.. Museum is just a short walk through. Their bathrooms aren't open but if you cross the bridge near them, you'll find public restrooms. I would like to have done some history tours. You need reservations for those instead of being able to drop in, due to COVID. So we didn't get to do them this go around.

Stopped into the Welcome Center while exploring Main Street in Breckenridge. Cute little museum with history of the gold era and lots of artifacts to see. Upstairs was the ski part of the museun. Friendly staff. Beautifully decorated with lights for the Holidays outside. Signage outside to read also.

I was in Breckenridge with my friends for Oktoberfest. We had a great time minus our experience at the Visitor Center. We stopped at the Visitor Center to ask a question and were “welcomed” by a male employee who barely turned around when I asked if he worked there and if he could help me. He gave me a look like I was inconveniencing him. His answers to my questions were short. He definitely shouldn’t be working in the tourism industry and this was a poor demonstration of hospitality at such a beautiful place. I normally don’t write reviews but his demeanor was extremely rude and I hope someone sees this and ensures a more welcoming experience for the next person who visits the center.

We were looking for advice for certain winter hikes in Breckenridge. The folks were very helpful and knowledgeable. The trail they offered were outstanding. The Welcome Center had a breadth of information and is definitely worth leveraging, if you are looking for insights.

We go to the Breck Welcome Center every year for advice on hiking, events, etc. They always have good advice and are very helpful. I recommend it as a "go to" place for what's finding out going on in and around Breck.

Now THIS was a surprise to me...after living here locally (seasonally) for seven years and usually pointing our visitors here for the loo and free wi-fi, I actually stepped foot inside this winter! Sad I know but how fortunate that I finally did. If you have a visitors, I would recommend this as one of the first stops on their itinerary. They'll learn about Breck's beginnings and how it came to be the great place that it is now. It's very well done, not overly complicated and completely free! Our favourite part was the deck outside (top floor) that gives a great view of all the peaks.

This was one of our first stops during our visit to Breckenridge. We were able to enjoy a lot of the display areas in the welcome center to get a bit of history about the area. There were good reference resources for area activities, shops, restaurants, etc. available for free. A receptionist is onsite to assist with questions.

Public restrooms are a bit challenging to find, but the Welcome Center had public restrooms downstairs.

The Welcome Center is where most people in town will point you if you're looking for a bathroom. It has that (and free wifi, however it's a little slow), but it's also a visitor info center and has a whole free museum about the town and the ski resort. There's a cute little interactive area upstairs for kids. And make sure you go upstairs and out on the balcony to get a nice view of the slopes.
