We loved the restaurants "Blue River Bistro" and Bold by the Hyatt, for lunch and Hearthstone for dinner. Fun was outstanding at all 3. Patio dining for both lunches was really nice. Friendly and good waiters. We also went to Vida Flo and the nurse,...More

We enjoyed walking around Main Street and looking through all the shops. We visited with lots of people, checked out restaurants and enjoyed the mountain views. The kids enjoyed the small park and kept wanting to go back and play with their friends. They also...More

Unlike Vail or Keystone, Breckenridge was a town long before the ski areas arrived. It has a rich mining history and some buildings on Main Street are well over 100 years old. This gives Breck a "real town" feel as opposed to just another resort.

We decided to visit Breckenridge during the Wine Festival they were having. Main Street Breckenridge has many historic buildings registered in the historical society. The area is very pedestrian friendly and there are many opportunities to cross the street between intersections. Most of the shops...More

The Main Street of Breckenridge is very quaint, unique gifts, and friendly shops. Loved the French Bakery, Flip Flop Restaurant with Boozy milk shakes, and the art galleries.Spent hours wandering the town. Would recommend when in town you make time to check the shops/restaurants out,

If you're staying longer than the weekend, then main street is best during the week. Crowds are thinner, it's more laid back and relaxed. On the contrary, it's hopping on the weekends. Expect longer lines, harder to find parking, and generally more busy. Either way,...More

Took a drive out to Breckenridge our last full day. Saw everything from snow to foliage. Nice typical ski town filled with restaurants and shops...but tucked in here and there were some unique things to see.

Yes. There are numerous shuttle services from DIA, and there is a much cheaper bus (The Bustang) that goes from downtown Denver to Frisco twice and day. Frisco is the next town over from Breck, and there are easily... More
