The best past are the guides. It worth a visit but its very expensive for what you get. Don't get lured just because you can pan for gold - and you can, and you may find some - the tiniest flakes if you're lucky! Glad...More

Way overpriced for a very short walk down an abandoned mine. Not that much fun. Kids enjoyed panning for gold for a little while. Not worth it.

I had read many reviews of many of the mines in this area and thought this sounded like the most experiential. It's a bit of a drive compared to some of the mines right off the highway but it was worth it. We drove by...More

A fun spot to visit. The mine was interesting, but the stories and history told by the tour guide were even better. The family had a great time on the tour and panning for a bit afterward.

The mine was interesting, fun ,and wet. The staff were very informative and our group enjoyed the experience on a cold day. The panning for gold experience was fun and would be a blast with children. Just a nice experience.

This place is kinda hard to find actually. No signage at all. What is here is small but interesting if you have never seen anything like it. Not a bad diversion esp with younger kids

My 13 year old son and I had a great tour and did some panning for gold. The tour was fun - lots of fun facts. Interesting being 2500 ft back into the mine.

We were taken on a tour 1,100 feet into the mine to see how it was done and the conditions the miners worked under. Well worth it.
