This CU student favorite hangout changes constantly, with an always interesting array of bars, restaurants, shops and local characters. Used to visit regularly when our daughter was at CU. Loved seeing that, even though it has changed a bit, it still has the same funky vibe.

The Hill kind of morphs with the times but has some constants too. Wild students walking around. A combination of nice and quick student food and places to have a coffee or drink. It feels seedy sometimes with drug-fueled rainbow people, and then you may not see them for weeks at a time. A must for a visit to Boulder.

We enjoyed going here while on our vacation. It's a must see while in Boulder. We went in the fall but spring would be awesome too!

Great dining, beer, bar, coffee spots and deals; priced for college kids but good enough for adults who are looking for high quality food and coffee at a fraction of the cost

The Hill is the main area just off campus that is the center of student life for socializing with some great local restaurants and bars. Every school has an area like this and CU 's is a mix of old and new.

There are many interesting shops and eating/drinking establishments. Lots of music playing. It reminds me a little of South Congress in Austin, TX.

We went to CU back, well, about 20 years ago and The Hill was vibrant. It was THE PLACE to be if you were a CU student. Now it's dirty, run down and is taken over by a huge Walgreens, Starbucks, and other corporate chains. So sad to see it like this. Back in the day when Taylor's Bar and... More
