Boulder county can be rather hostile to bike access on trails outside the city, but this bike-specific park in town is well designed, laid out, and has a good variety of challenges with progressive levels of difficulty. A good place to develop skills.

We took our nephews there and they had a blast, what a great facility for kids and adults alike - take your BMX/mountain bikes and ride the trail and inclines, great practice.

This would be a really nice dog park if it weren't for the piles of dog dookie EVERYWHERE! I've never seen a dog park in such sad condition---and in Boulder, no less! Disgraceful.

This bike park has trails for the youngest on Strider bikes to very challenging, competitive mountain biking trails. Come early in the day to miss the crowds. Good fun year-round for the rugged bike rider.

Literally years of fun to be had at this park. Plenty of cool ways to practice and work on skills in a condensed form. Go here.

I'd recommend University Bicycles or Full Cycles. You'd have to ride to the Valmont Bike Park, but it's only a couple of miles away from either. Both are very user friendly and could also provide trail maps for riding around... More
