Cool, local music venue in Boulder

Nice folks behind the bar. Really nice folks in the box office. Local people who want you to have a good time. Great acts. Best seats are in the balcony.

We saw a comedian here and enjoyed the food and drink at the same time. It was fun! This was about 15 years ago, but I really liked the layout.

This historic building has an excellent sound system, and many well-known performers comes through. The art deco style of architecture and the complementary murals inside make it unique.

I was lucky enough to see Ryan Adams at The Boulder Theater and it was amazing. It was truly one of the most memorable concerts of my life. It was an acoustic show without alcohol (unique for the Theater), and I could hear him perfectly. It was a little difficult to see, but that is because I was sitting behind... More

Drinks are normal quality, nothing special, food did not impressed me, service always non-existent (or they had a bad day). But the acoustics in the room is quite ok for many event types.

Saw Richard Marx on Nov 18th. The seating is not your typical theater-style seating - more like a banquet room with straight back, padded seats. This is a perfect venue if you want to see and hear the performance. Every seat is a good one.

Saw a touring rotation of Second City here in winter 09/10. It was a nice theater with what seemed to be a good variety of acts. Seemed like a gem in the heart of Boulder, which is a gem in the heart of Colorado. Highly recommend the venue and Pearl Street in general.

Great music coming through here. I always feel good letting my teenagers go to a show here as they hold the scene well and most shows are for all ages. Separate drinking area and great folks work there.

Built at the beginning of the twentieth century, this place might well be the best venue for music in Colorado or more. It has been beautifully maintained and is set just off the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. We went to see Esperanza Spaulding and the crowd, the performers and the music was amazing. The sound was great as we... More

Boulder Theatre was full to the gills for the first set of Hank 3. As he descended from country to metal, the crowd thinned and it was time to move in front of the stage. Sound was good, decent views, but they could use more bartenders.
