When my son walked us around campus we were amazed at the beauty of it. Unlike many campuses it was built with a theme of the local rock (Sandstone?). The buildings on the whole campus match, making it a beautiful campus. The football field, while not as large as many monolithic ones around the country, is prettier than most. The... More

I attended CU in 1986 and again from 1992 through 1996. The architecture of the building reminds me of the flatirons and as they have added more and more buildings, they keep the look of newer buildings like the old ones. I take friends with me to walk this rather large campus to view the architecture of the buildings, the... More

If you find yourself in Boulder, take some time to walk around campus. The buildings are beautiful and there are little hidden lakes on campus.

Located south of downtown Boulder, the University of Colorado had a pretty nice campus. It was peaceful on the day we visited probably because it was a weekend day. The theme of the buildings was "Color Orange" - you can see the orange buildings from afar. The lawns were well maintained and the road were clean. From the campus you... More

What a beautiful campus! We drove through the entire campus and was explained about the rock used on all the buildings. Our friend's family owns a house right off campus. Even though we finished our college education 30 years ago, it's still cool to visit a college campus.

We drove all around and enjoyed the relaxed and well laid out University. Both our teenagers professed that they would like to go and study there out of choice.

There are times we are on campus SEVERAL times/week. We go to presentations........we adore the music school: not only Faculty Tuesdays, but additional programs on other days.......and the CU Art Museum is a delightful gem. The CU Museum of Natural History has lectures and presentations several times/month and most are interesting. The only negative about campus is PARKING.........it is now... More

The University of Colorado campus has the most beautiful buildings in town. However the competition is easy considering the West took Frontier Days seriously when they slapped up some of the worst architecture in some of the most beautiful mountain backdrops. What's worse, it is it lacks ethnic diversity. However, having grown up in this town I will say that... More

Located towards the eastern end of the CU Boulder campus is the sizeable C4C student services building, with a superb food-court-style dining hall on almost the entire first floor. Mind you, this is "not your typical school cafeteria." The Persian food station is a standout (when C4C opened it had an Iranian head chef; he may still be there), with... More
