The campus is beautiful and the gorgeous mountains can be seen from the campus. Brick buildings for a very special environment. Everything is well located and the students can walk to classes, shops, restaurants, etc. Everyone seemed happy and friendly. Traffic is tight but drivers...More

I'm a bit biased, as I went to school here back in the days of smoke signals, chalk boards, and Pogo's/Tulagi's...but I have been scores of other campuses around the country, Canada, England, Ireland, China....and CU has to be one of my favorites. Upper campus...More

Beautiful campus. Even without a lot of students there, it had a very positive energy to it. Check out the Lego model of the entire campus, located at the oldest building on campus

CU Boulder is a gem of a campus, rain or shine. The day I went it was pouring rain and cold. Braving this weather, I planned for a quick 10 minute walk before retreating to my homework. Instead, I ended up walking for two hours....More

We purchased tickets online for outdoor Shakespeare play “Loves Labour Lost.” We were not familiar with this play but enjoy fine arts of all genres. The outside auditorium was rather difficult to find as it was in a courtyard. The outside catering was delicious. Bathrooms...More

It's a large university but walking around it never feels that big. No high rises and lots of green space. Very walkable. The attractiveness and likeness of all the buildings is a matter of opionion.

... it's still just a college campus. It's reasonably attractive, but certainly no more so than many such places out east.

After touring the campus, ride along Boulder Creek. It's so scenic! We rode it out of town. You might want to avoid weekends, as there are a lot of people in summertime.

We took a tour here. The campus is absolutely gorgeous. The whole tour was very impressive. My daughter loved it. Wish out of state tuition was more affordable. But I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely worth a look.
