Loved this moderate level hike. Views from multiple spots were spectacular. Everyone on trail super friendly even though there were many people making the trek, young and old. Suggest getting to area before 10am to beat crowds. Lots of amazing hiking and shaded trails.

Lots of great hiking opportunities from easy to challenging, we did the rattlesnake gulch trail and the views were amazing and totally worth the uphill grade to get there, highly recommend.

Incredible morning hiking Rattlesnake trail all the way up to the view of the continental divide. Definitely a moderate hike. Beautiful views the entire way. Loved seeing all the rock climbers on the rock faces on our way out of the park. Go early because...More

We arrived mid morning and parking is difficult as popular canyon. There are at least 10 designated picnic areas. As I had a 13 and an 8 year, we only did the easy trail, which was mostly shaded. There were many scenic spots to view...More

Went with the family on the 4th of July. I expected it to be busy and was not disappointed. Traffic backed up and log jamed by the "Public Pool" when cars stopped to empty out rafts, coolers and family members. When we finally made it...More

I wasn't really sure what to expect, and more than once thought that Google Maps had sent us in the wrong direction. But once we reached the end of the road and the entrance to the park, we were really blown away by the beauty...More

We spent about 4 hours wandering the trails and the road along the river. Loved that there was shade covering some of the trails. Also was fun to not only watch the climbers but get even closer viewing them through the built in binoculars thingie....More

The Boulder area has a lot of great hikes; however, this is my favorite because you don't have to wait to get to the top to feel rewarded by the scenery and you have so many options up! Choose your difficulty wisely though, you can...More

This is definitely an unexpected view after driving down a dirt road. It just appears out of nowhere. It is absolutely beautiful. The rock walls were amazing. The river along the road was beautiful with rapids and falls all along the way. My family--two parents...More

There are many levels of hikes in Eldorado Canyon. There are access trails that allow the climbers to walk down from their ascent (these are often steep and precipitous) as well as stroller/wheelchair accessible trails... More

It is 8 dollars to enter the park. We tried many times to park our car somewhere before the park entrance but there are really no other options.
