As you walk up the paths varying in difficulty from where chair accessible to must be a climber, you get to take in all the amazing views and there are often climbers on the rocks all over that... Beautiful way to spend an unexpected snow day in May. Only passed one other couple on the Fowler trail. Quiet and peaceful.

Not to mention the Eldorado Springs pool - but it's cold spring water so only on a HOT day. The depth of the canyon is a popular climbing phenom.

The drive in to the park from Boulder is easy and the little "town" of Eldorado Springs reminded my kids of Radiator Springs from the movie Cars. The views from the moment you get out of the car are breathtaking. I tried to capture them in pictures but they really did not do justice to the scenery. We hiked the... More

Beautiful State Park with nice trails, great creek with falls, and lots of rock walls. Common place for mountain rock climbing, so path makes it easy to watch them climb. Staff was friendly and helpful. Path by Visitor's Center really pretty, too.

We went to this Canyon recently when we visited Boulder Colorado. When you drive up you have to pay $8 to get in and it's only about a mile long. What I would advise doing is driving inside and go to the parking lot and then park your car and walk... it's not a very hard walk and the scenery... More

Good hike if about 4 miles and 1000' climb. No big steps and suitable for a couple in their late 50's who don't go to the gym that often! Tip. Park in the forth car park up the mountain and save a mile Trail is well marked and easy to follow. Great views from the top

Went to the Canyon with a family member who was a climber. Took a very easy walk on one of the paths. Saw the spots were climbers concentrate (identified by chalk marks on rocks). Very pleasent time close to Boulder

Hiking ranges from easy and gently sloped to steep and rocky. Watching climbers scale the sheer rock walls was an exciting extra. Easily accessible from the Boulder area, though first come - first served admission means you run the risk of driving in but not getting into the park.
