Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

Pearl street has become in the last few years, somewhat of the mecca for Midwestern hipsters. So if you aren't into that scene you may not appreciate the area as much. That being said, there are a lot cool little eclectic shops and restaurants here....More

Pearl street mall is a pedestrian 4 block walk in downtown Boulder. Original buildings now shops and restaurants ( no teeshirt shops). Great for browsing and people watching. Highly recommend.

The mall is great but there are so many people around begging and what appears to be a homeless population. Not sure if this is a result of the pot sales or just the changing times. The place would be great if it we're cleaned...More

As a Boulder resident I make a point of avoiding heavily touristed areas but I recently had to spend a week on the mall for my work. I found the place to be quite lively and the people watching is excellent. There are tons of...More

Another downtown mall. Clean, easy to walk, pedestrian part without cars and some interesting shops. Most were not our style or geared to a younger clientele. Street performers and musicians always add interest but more of the same. Nothing to make this stand out from...More

Loved the street performers and atmosphere! We found hula hoops sitting along side one of the buildings so had an impromptu competition amongst our group. Plenty of restaurant options, sweets and unique shops--including an awesome rock shop and Kilwins for out-of-this-world fudge and ice cream...More
