I was told it was a three mile hike. I question that. It was challenging but interesting and rewarding. Very nice hike and the arch itself at the end was a good ending (but I had to return and go back down). Highly recommended but...More

This hike was beautiful but it took a while. I would say about two to three hours up and two hours back. If your not used to hiking this may be a stretch. I would not take young kids on this trail. I am quite...More

Always a good hike, very busy but worth the crowds to "get to the arch" - a good hike for visitors - not too strenuous if you just take your time.

Tougher hike than expected but made it with a 2 and 5 year old. What's the issue with people in boulder hiking with music? I am in nature to get away from the outside world. Just annoying.

this is a nice modest hike for any hiker with a great reward at the top. It is virtually at the edge of town ( Boulder ) and easy to get to. Only downside is that it is crowded on weekend. Forgot: the reward is...More

rocky climb to the arch but it's well worth it. the views on the way up and the uniqueness of the top is an absolute marvel that makes it all a great experience. you need to be in shape!

This hikes is a great short distance hike. Although it's only about a 3.5 mile round trip hike it is straight up and can be strenuous, especially people who aren't acclimated to the high elevation. The top is always worth the hike, you get to...More

Give yourself three hours if you're not an avid hiker for this one. It's worth the time for the views and nature experiences along the way. Take your water and a snack and enjoy the scenery on this hike!

Beautiful hike. I would say it's moderate to very difficult. About 1200 foot climb in altitude in only a couple miles. Some challenging spots both up and down. Very much worth the effort. Took about an hour and a half to reach, from Chautauqua park.

Hi Kevin, I usually plan on 90 minutes to 2 hours; depending on how long I want to linger up there or if I plan lunch or a snack. Enjoy!
