This is a beautifully restored building with a great cafe (The Convent cafe). It is right next to kids farm. A peaceful spot and the cafe was great. Highly recommend for a visit - a few hours max is all you need

Headed to this historic site as it had been many years since we had done so. Very impressive busldings which have been saved from being turned into apartments for the wealthy. Instead the play is a combination of great coffee and food vendors and a wide range of artistic ventures. There certianly a wide range of characters walking around the... More

Wonderful old buildings, interesting history. A good variety of things to see and do. Picked up some delicious home made cakes, chocolates and special coffee at the Makers Market. Enjoyed morning tea at one of the cafes. Worth a visit and easy to get to by public transport from Melbourne city.

Great spot to walk around after you check out the children's farm and the farmers market. Can be packed at times especially when farmers market is on. The car park fills up quick when market on

Have driven past this place for years but this is the first time i have ventured inside. They buildings are in various state of repair. We did a tour of the buildings so we got an idea of the history and usage of each building. Was an informative tour well worth the time. The surrounds encourage you to just wander... More

Hidden gem in Abbotsford, a great collection of venues from coffee and bakery to hidden bars on acres of grassed and gardened hills. If hunting for parking isn't your thing, park on the other side of the river and walk.. its a great adventure for the kids and a cold beer (or warm coffee) awaits. The venus contains some historic... An ideal venue for a family picnic in the beautifully manicured gardens. Several cafes to choose from with high quality food. Music on a Sunday morning market day at Lentil as Anything. Check their website for markets and other cultural activities. A wonderful space with a history.
