Get lost in the colours and diversity of the crystals and minerals at the Terrestrial Centre – this small town surprises with a massive collection all organised so neatly and well. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Georgetown or just passing through.

We visited as part of a bus tour of the gulf. Located in a little outback town, the comprehensive collection is world class, and well presented in a modern building next to a nice park. It is well worth the small admission price.
