I come every year and this place is amazing. Yes there is a smell, these are natural hot springs, there is no ammonia, I don't know what some of these people are talking about. This is a natural hot spring with a strong sulfur smell....More

We tend to go to Orr Hot Springs (we're the day use type), but we recently went back to Wilbur after about a 2-yr gap just for a change of pace. Overall, we still prefer Orr due to pricing and ease of access (the road...More

It's extremely quiet and peaceful. While in the pools it's a no-talking area which really let's you enjoy the peacefulness of your soak. The hotel is very old and charming. My experiences vary by the season. The surrounding 1800 acre nature preserve is a wonderful...More

Spent two nights at Wilbur Hot Springs and looking forward to another visit very soon. The soaking flumes (there are three with differing temps) were nearly empty, with at most three others. I did my soaks very early morning, watching the sun rise, and in...More

I had high hopes for the Wilbur Hot Springs, but ended up being quite disappointed. Even though the landscape was very beautiful and peaceful, the bathing area was very small. There were only 3 very small baths. All sulphur baths. The smell was very intense...More

My wife and I have stayed numerous times, both together and separately. First and foremost the atmosphere is quiet, respectful, and rustic -- and while clothing optional in the flume (as the hot-spring baths are called) area, it is not the "pick-up" scene found at...More

My wife and I have been here many times. Prior to today we have never had to make a reservation for "day use" of the soaking tubs of the springs. Today we drove hours to get there only to be turned away because they required...More
