Thus is a small animal museum with attached clinic for injured wildlife and a nice small gift shop. Nearby is a miniature train museum especially wonderful during the holiday season.

The Lindsay Wildlife Museum has a collection of exhibits concerning the local flora and fauna in the area, as well as live animals who have been rescued from the wild. I have never seen a museum quite like this, and it is an excellent way...More

Always great to see wildlife up close and personal. The docents really care about the animals and are very informative. They also run a clinic where you can take injured wild animals for check-out and release.

Must see for their raptor program. Great little wildlife programs for children and adults alike. On the weekends one is able to get up front and personal with the raptors and other animals. I petted a porcupine the other day. Great to see hawks and...More

When the weather turns bad this is a great place to let the kids run aground and explore when the weather is fine the docents offer outdoor show and tell of the museums residents!

We have a membership. It's a perfect outing with our young kids. It's not too big, but lots to see. They often have special talks, or behind the scenes look at the vets, or have an animal out for petting. I've learned a lot. As...More

The Lindsay is a wonderful asset for the City of Walnut Creek and it's animal friends. This is a rescue facility that engages the community in educational, artistic, and social activities. It is a special place for both children and adults.

This little museum is near a beautiful park with walking paths and playgrounds. We first encountered a turkey vulture outside and the gal answered questions about her. Going inside, we enjoyed the exhibits explaining various features of raptors. The best part, of course, is the...More

There is a turkey vulture outside at the very front, but everything else is inside. It would be a wonderful place to spend a rainy day!
