This was great for everyone of all ages. It’s not huge which I actually thought was kind of nice. Easily spent 4 hours there going between everything. Food was decent, no complaints there! Lots of lifeguards everywhere and even though there were a lot of people I didn’t feel overwhelmed with people

We were looking for a fun day for my family to celebrate my daughter's birthday party. We had heard of this place, but had never really looked into it. After reviewing their website we decided to book the birthday party. It was such a great deal!

The party was yesterday, July 14th. We got there at about 11:50, the park opens at noon. I checked in at the office and they had everything all ready for us. They handed me the tickets and told us what cabana was ours and they told me that a staff member would come by to review our food choices and the timeline of the day. The cabanas are only equipped with one picnic table, you may bring in your own chairs and you are also welcome to pull chairs or loungers over from other areas of the park. Our cabana was #10 and it was right next to a little patch of grass with a few palm trees. If we had a bunch of extra people that would have been great for some extra room.

Soon after we had set our stuff down and arranged our chairs one of the staff members came by, and asked us what type of Pizza, chips and drinks we wanted. She also asked what time we wanted the food brought out. We decided to have our food right away so we wouldn't have to drag the kids out of the water to eat later. This turned out to be the best idea. The food came right on time and the pizza was very good. The staff member taking care of us was Vinneay and she could not have been more friendly and attentive. She was so awesome!

The waterpark itself is pretty small. It has 4 water slides, three of them you use a tube and one is a body slide. They have a lazy river and there are tubes in the river, you may just grab one. I saw plenty of open tubes all day so getting one is not a problem. There is a big open pool area. There is also a wave machine. The line was pretty long for the wave machine, but it looked lie fun. My daughter, her two cousins and her friend are all 7-8 years old and this park was perfect for them. They are all very strong swimmers so we felt comfortable letting them go off on there own. We could see pool at the bottom of slides from where we sat and we could see them float by on the lazy river. It had just enough attractions to keep them happy all day long.

The last thing that I want to metion is the lifegaurds. They were very impressive. I watched them all day long and you could tell that they were very focused and dilligent.

I was very happy with our day at the Wave Waterpark. It was a great way to celebrate a summer birthday.

A little crowded on a hot day but the lazy river keeps everyone moving nicely. Kids like the wave for boogie boards. Not a lot of shade if they are busy. Take a hat and two towels per person--one to sit on.

I just wanted to write this review for parents out there with small children who think this might actually be a good place to visit or a good idea...... I was so excited to take my daughter who is 3 years old to a water park. I spent about $60 for entry fee and 2 tubes and was there less than an hour and a half. I will never return to this park or spend money ever again taking my daughter there. The staff were incredibly rude and unfriendly on top of being so busy and so overcrowded that the staff could barely function to help paying patrons-one lifeguard in particular was extremely rude yelling at me for having swimmies on my 3 year old daughter while kids were actually doing unsafe things in the pools/lazy river. There were not many things a 3 year old could do at the park besides a little playzone that half the slides were wet and half were dry causing a huge burn on my daughters rear end and back legs (do not let them go in with just a bathing suit on--make sure you put shorts on them). It is a complete waste of money. The only other option was a lazy river which might I add the lifeguard was screaming at us--so very unprofessional for such a serious job of saving others in time of need. This woman keeping in mind I purchased a tube and put floaties on my daughter who was very quietly sitting in my lap and I was being screamed at for putting floaties on my child when there are lifejackets--not to mention the fact that there were teen boys actually play fighting in the lazy river in front of us and they werent sanctioned but was yelled at for protecting my 3 year old with swimmies incase she fell off. Thanks for being so considerate of parents who actually watch and protect their children. Of all the people at the park this day and not watching their children I have a much younger child and shes sitting in a tube with me go yell at someone else. Your lucky your manager was on vacation this week but mark my words this will be addressed. Terrible and utterly frusturated. I would never return to this park ever again even when my daughter is older.

Yea admission is a low price, but that's because it's a lame place. So tiny. Too crowded. Kinda ghetto. Just skip it. The only reason why I didn't give it a "1 star" is because we were only there for 10 mins & wanted to leave & luckily they refunded us our money. Very thankful for that!!

Small park but plenty to do! Can walk out and cross the street and grab lunch at several different places or they serve food there. Typical park food, burgers etc. Slides, lazy river and a huge pool- we had a great time and plan to go back. Best to go when they open. It gets busy

I know you might think that it is cold if you are on the East Coast but it is nice and toasty here. I bought a pass to use the facility every day. It has clean pools, bathrooms, and the lifeguards are great. It is a must if you are in the area and there is a random Santa Ana.

The best part of this park is to duck under that little wall in the lazy river when the lifeguard's not looking and get shot out by the jetting water that moves the lazy river. Besides that, it's full of preteens so it'd be pretty uncomfortable for an adult male to be there so I haven't been since '94. It's got a standing wave that I tried once but, although I'm a surfer, I didn't know how to ride it so it shot me backward instantly and jettisoned water through my sinuses like a noob. No one cared, though.

The Wave is a local waterpark with a slight "big time" feel. Aside from the basic swimming pool they have a couple of good sized water slides as well as a lazy river and wave machine. the place always seems clean and the staff is courteous. Admission is a little steep if you're going everyday, but for a quick change from the beach, it's not bad. The park is centrally located in downtown vista and easy to get to from the freeway. There is a food place inside, but prices are high. Next door to the park there's a movie theater, shopping center and plenty of restaurants if you'd rather eat there or need a little extra excitement before/after your visit. They offer specialty weekend prices, movie nights and other special events, check their website for more on that. Whether you're passing through or live in the area, this little chunk of watery wonderland is sure to please both kids and adults.
