1st time playing this course. Very friendly and professional staff. Course greeters, front desk, snack shop, and cart person were outstanding. This is how a golf course should be run. Course layout was challenging but fair. Beautiful golf course. Back 9 very challenging with narrow...More

The old men who work there are the rudest most pretentious course staff that I have ever encountered. These types are what gives golf a bad name. If you're a snob this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague

We played 5 different courses this trip and Northstar surprised me by being the most fun. Friendly staff, very good conditions, quick pace of play, fair price. Some local knowledge that I did not have would have been helpful on couple holes. I'll be back...More

I have to repeat what everyone has said: the front 9 and back 9 are totally different. The front 9 is very playable. Several of the holes on the back 9 require a layup before trying to go over a ravine which can be difficult...More

we play this course on the way to Lake Tahoe. The two 9's are a different as can be. The front is flat and the back 9 is mountainous. The back is more challenging with blind shots with severe elevation changes.
