About
Browse the wares at Old Town Temecula’s antique stores and quaint boutiques, and stop by one of the many cafes to savor the finest local wines—you’re in the heart of the Temecula Valley Wine Country, after all. Hang out along Old Town Front Street for a spot of people-watching as you take in the views of the mountains that tower over Temecula. If wine isn’t your thing, don’t fret. There are a growing number of breweries, distilleries, and meaderies in the region, so you’re sure to find an establishment serving something local to your taste. Don’t miss the weekly morning farmer’s market. – Tripadvisor

Old town Temecula has a real charm and vibe to it. The main appeal is in its rustic and Western feel. They have lots of antique shops, wine tasting places, restaurants, and boutiques.

This is a real touristy place, so expect a lot of people walking down the street or sitting outside at a bar or restaurant.

They have events planned throughout the year, like car shows and music. It's a very lively place.

We have eaten at several of their restaurants, including 1909, Crush and Brew, and Mo's egg house. There are so many to choose from, however.

They even have tours that take you around the wineries. Great place to come for a day to shop and eat. I highly recommend it.

My first visit to Temecula Valley Cheese Company took place in April 2023. The owner of the store turned out to be a nice and very friendly woman; Unfortunately, I don't remember her name. She paid a lot of attention to us and helped us choose cheeses that suited our taste and mood. The selection of cheeses was wonderful. We left the store wanting to come back again when we were in the area.

We are back in August 2023....OMG!!! Where is the shop?!!!! We asked the owner of a nearby antique store if he knew what happened to the cheese company? Has the store moved to a new location? But we didn't get an answer, he didn't know.

The store was there for 15 years.......

If you are coming to Temecula … spend a day in Old Town, get a fresh baked croissant, omelet and coffee from Le Coffee Shop — Chefs/owners Charlotte and Yoann are from France and they serve exquisite everything! Wine tasting, art, historic sites — Old Town has it all.

Located right in downtown Temecula, Old Town had many shops and restaurants to go to (we went to Small Barn, which was delicious).

This place is amazing if you’re hammered out of your mind on Temecula swill. Otherwise it’s your typical fake “old town” with mediocre restaurants and hog folk. Skip the entire city. Temecula is like Napa if you like sipping the juice that collects in the bottom of a dumpster.

Old Town Temecula has it all. It’s your one place to find everything by walking down one street. Park your car and just start walking. There are excellent restaurants that have great food on both sides of the Main Street which is about a half mile long. We tried Texas Lil’s outdoor dining during their happy hour. Their appetizers are excellent with huge portions. We made a meal out of just their appetizers and even had to take some with us. We had the zucchini, boneless wings and pork riblets, which were all delicious. We had dessert at The Sweet Shop, which has excellent ice cream. There are also many unique shops along the street to browse through. If you are looking for antiques, there are many along the main street. But if you are really into antiques, try Grannies Attic, which is a 30,000 sq foot building loaded with antiques. It is located on the street behind Old Town. Parking can be difficult along Main Street, so look for any public parking you can find. Very enjoyable and friendly town.

Parked here around noon, looking for lunch. Followed some TA recommendations to find places that weren’t open. Poked into some overpriced shops. Saw a shop with interesting things but a political sign outside let us know they didn’t want our money, so we kept walking.
