Really bad customer service. I’ve had a terrible experience with the staff in person and via email. Signed up for the wine membership where 8 free glasses/month were supposed to be included. This since changed to 4, then 2. The staff wouldn’t answer me as to why there was an unauthorized price increase and refused to refund me. Overall they have been nothing but difficult to deal with - argumentative and rude on multiple occasions. Definitely not worth the wine membership. I’d worry about planning an event there just given that the staff isn’t accommodating.

We stopped by for the first time on a recent Wednesday to enjoy a bottle of wine by the pond. Vitagliano is primarily a wedding/event venue and their grounds are absolutely beautiful. We were in the mood for a dry white and were offered a taste of their cabernet rosé and Moscato. I don’t like sweet wines and was pleasantly surprised that the Moscato was quite good – crisp, dry and very fruity. It was hard to choose, but we opted for a bottle of the rosé. I appreciated that they automatically gave us an ice bucket to keep it chilled. I had read that you can preorder charcuterie, sandwiches, salads, desserts. We didn’t order ahead, but I asked and they happened to have a few small charcuterie plates available. Their food is provided locally through E.A.T. Marketplace. The charcuterie was very small for the price and the few strawberries in it were mushy and a bit moldy underneath! We brought it to their attention and were offered another one, which wasn’t much better. I think the charcuterie containers had been around for a day or two, so perhaps if we had preordered, the food would have been better/fresher. So the food was a bit of a disappointment and I’m not wild about having to preorder 24 hours in advance since we tend to stop in to wineries as the mood strikes us. But on the upside, the rosé was refreshing and we enjoyed sitting by the pond and wandering the grounds a bit. We’d definitely return – the grounds are truly magical and this is the perfect setting for relaxing with a good bottle of wine.

I have been a regular of the Temecula wine scene for a while and am currently a member at three wineries and have been a member at two or three others over the years. We always try to hit a new winery from time to time and recently visited Vitagliano for the first time. Do yourself a favor, there are a lot of wineries in Temecula so find a good one and avoid Vitagliano. We had a very poor first experience.

They charged us for tastings we didn't have and I don't like the way they charge you which is very misleading. They sent the receipt to my email address where I found the overcharges and I wrote them a nice email pointing out the error and requested a credit but they didn't even have the decency to reply to my inquiry. Again, do yourself a favor there are some great wineries in Temecula just avoid this one and avoid these problems.

If you must go there be sure to get a detailed itemized bill before you pay. Review the bill in detail to make sure all the items are correct and also be aware that as you sign the automated system the automated tip option pops up (I think with 20% the standard default which they would like you to click on) this tip will be added to the entire bill (tastings, taxes, and any bottles purchased) and I don't believe that it ever tells you the amount of the tip you only see 20% which might be the norm at a meal but if you saw the true $$ amount that was shocking. I recommend a zero automated tip and pay the tip in cash instead.

I see no reason to go back to this winery and won't due to all the other options and especially since they overcharged me and don't even have the courtesy to discuss this with you

Very informative and educational. Our tasting guide was so nice and pleasant. The tasting consisted of whites and reds so you get to experience a wide spectrum of flavors.

We went here on a Saturday evening. We were not able to do a wine tasting but our daughters had been here earlier in the day & did the wine tasting & brought us here in the evening. If there isn't a wedding you will be able to enjoy music & sit on a lovely patio & have some wine. It was a beautiful evening & we really enjoyed the music. The young lady who was working that night remembered my daughter from earlier in the day. My daughter knew which wines we would like & she let us have a small sample to make sure. We then all purchased some wine & a cheese & fruit plate & sat & enjoyed the music. It was a cold evening but there are tables that have a fire pit in the middle to keep you warm. It turned out to be a most enjoyable evening & we enjoyed some very good wine. The grounds are beautiful also. If we ever visit Temecula again we will be sure to go back to do a full wine tasting.

If you have been to Temecula wine country, the lay of the land is not difficult to learn and navigate. The large, mass production vineyards and events are easy to find, and the boutique style family owned/operated are as well.
What is not easy to capture is a place to just relax, sip good wine, unplug, away from the hustle and noise. But there is an answer now to that, but it is a new face in the wine game. Vitagliano.
Only in the wine making for a few years now, to the point only 2 varietals are of their new fruit growth, this place has been a high end wedding site for years. The grounds are incredible and maintained. Think of Ferrari-Carano (N. Sonoma Valley) of Temecula.
We relaxed for 4 hours midday on a Friday, sipping a few bottles, in a perfect breeze surrounded by amazing gardens, vines and views. We relaxed on very comfortable patio furniture, read some, Frank Sinatra was playing through the vineyard grounds speakers...I mean it was a total escape and recharge.
The wine also has some real depth. So much vino in the Temecula area gets down beyond the easy drinking first layer and has individual expression. We have high hopes for the future of their wine here.

Bravo!!

This is a newcomer and seems they are focused on being a wedding venue more than a great wine maker. They have many wines to taste that were ok but not overly impressive. The pond, flowers and ground are what make this winery so special. Stop here for some picture taking with low expectations on the wine factor. Perhaps in time the grapes will improve and the product will be just as stunning as the surroundings.

The outdoor area is a perfect venue for a wedding or special event. I did not try their wines, but I want to try them sometime.

The sparkling wines were better than average. The whites were average and the reds were below average. The prices were very steep for the quality.
