Eight of us chartered this beautiful boat for a three hour tour of the lake. Brad, our guide, was knowledgeable, gregarious and funny. The ride was amazingly smooth. Even sitting outside, it was not that windy. The inside cabin is very comfortable. A friend had told us about the boat and we all really enjoyed the outing. We chartered it... More

Last week our group of seven enjoyed an evening cruise on Lake Tahoe aboard the Wild Goose II. This boat is an impeccably maintained mahogany beauty operated by a knowledgeable and friendly crew who served us snacks and drinks while pointing out the various landmarks we passed along the shores of the lake. We had a great time and it... More

The concierge at our hotel suggested a large catamaran or paddle wheeler but neither appealed to us. Luckily, I found this on Tripadvisor! We went with 2 other couples who were very nice. The small group enabled us all to go in and out of the cabin as desired. Very comfortable and the views were great, of course.

Best boat tour I've had on Lake Tahoe. Gorgeous mahogany boat that holds just 12 people. Very friendly and knowledgable captain. Nice alternative to the large barges and paddle wheelers on the lake.

We did the (supposedly) 2 hour Cocktail Cruise. First of all, the boat is gorgeous. There were only five of us that evening, so everyone could sit outside and it wasn't crowded. Not sure how the experience would have been if there had been 8+ people on board. Snacks are served during the cruise - goldfish, pretzels, trail mix, figs,... More

My husband and I splurged on a 4 hour chartered ride on the beautiful Wild Goose II wooden boat. Other than Capt Matt, we had the boat to ourselves. It was worth every penny! The boat was gorgeous, Matt grew up in Tahoe so he knew all about the area, the lake, and the surrounding houses. The lake was beautiful.... More

My wife and I went out with Captain MJ (Matt) and his assistant Liz and had a terrific time for 5pm Sunset cocktails. The wind picked up in afternoon and made the waters choppy but the Wild Goose II is a very sturdy boat and cut through the lake waves with ease and made the trip extremely comfortable. MJ and... We took a late afternoon cruise across Lake Tahoe. The Wild GooseII is a gorgeous boat. We enjoyed the cocktails and scenery. Steve was very informative about the history of the homes along our route. We even had an opportunity to see "The Thunderbird" boat, Steve says it's never out so this was quite a treat. We will definitely book... More

This is one of the best parts of our annual summer Tahoe trip. We have been going out with Matt and Steve for years. They run a fantastic operation with a classic Grand Craft. Recommend a lunch cruise to West Shore Cafe with your whole family or the sunset cocktail cruise with adults only. Not to be missed.

We took the evening cocktail cruise on the Wild Goose II out of Tahoe Vista. Captain Matt and his deckhand Steve provided a very enjoyable trip aboard the Wild Goose II accross Lake Tahoe to the Thunderbird Lodge and then along the shoreline of Incline Village. We learned a lot about the rich and famous at Lake Tahoe, beautiful scenery... More
