The Biz is a beautiful, easy walk. It has a very gentle slope and runs along the Susan River. You choose the distance that you want go.

Nice place to go for a leisurely stoll through nature. The low-incline trail makes this place ideal for people of all ages as well as pets.

This is one of the most interesting and beautiful bike trails I have seen in the U.S. Heading west from Susanville, the trail runs along the picturesque Susan River, and offers views of sheer bluffs and pine and deciduous forests. The trail comprises several old...More

Wonderful old railroad grade = almost flat, multi-user friendly. Follows the Susan River up hill from town. October = fall colors. Saw a couple of deer, and not many people. Has mile/Km markers. Several parking lots and access points along the way.
