About
A wonderful park with two play area sections one for tots and one for older kids. There is a water feature with water spouting up that children can run through. Climbing features include a pirate ship and large rocks plus the usual swings, push style merry-go-round, and slides. There is a large grassy area, a basketball half-court, and free BBQs. A great place for families to hang out.
Duration: 1-2 hours

I have been here pre-pandemic and during the pandemic (safely). Pre-pandemic they had a SUPER fun water feature my son enjoyed with his cousins. During the pandemic we have enjoyed socially distanced/mask on play dates and regular visits. There is a sand pit, several playgrounds (one for the "very" little people and one for the "biggler" little people) and a little pathway that circles the whole park which is great for kids and their scooters/bikes. Parking can be dicey during peak hours, I always go during non-peak hours.

The Seven Seas Park has everything a kid could want: a water spout area for cooling off on hot days, several different slides, a pirate ship, swinging bridges, rocks to climb on, swings for toddlers and for older kids, and a push-type merry-go-round. There is also a large grassy area, BBQs, tables, and a basketball half-court. There is even a separate area for toddlers to play. Our grandchildren, ages 6 and 8, love it.

I have been going since its grand opening. If you play Ingress, the park has portals about every 10 feet. Designed for kinds, lots of safety features such as padded rubber floors in the main activity area. Good for small group picnics. Restrooms in the center, basketball and tennis courts near the street. Unfortunately the parking lot only hold half a dozen cars, and another 7 or 8 might fit on-street. Not nearly enough. There is a tiny dog park section, just a sand floor. Big grassy area is sometimes co-opted by non-city organized activities.

We went to the neighborhood park called Seven Seas Park. This is a delightful park for children with many ocean themed playground equipment such as a pirate boat.
There is a dog Park.
There is a basketball court.
There is delightful places for picnics, including som tables set up with a chess//check board to play games.
