We enjoyed the Western Railway Museum in October to experience the pumpkin patch. Children and adults all enjoyed themselves. Staff is SO curteous and helpful. It's obvious they all enjoy their jobs. Train ride through countryside was fun yet peaceful.

The museum was very well done and fun. You got to get up close to the old trains in the barn. Plus, you got a great ride on an old electric train.

The Railway museum offers a nostalgic tour of trains, including a 30 minute train ride to view wildflowers. The train yard houses numerous train cars, including some Muni railway cars & train cars from other countries in various stages of renovation. They have a good...More

Take an hour train ride into the middle of rolling green hills to view the wildflowers. Best time to go is the beginning of April as the flowers disappear when it gets warm. You ride in a very old train car with a conductor who...More

Great place to bring the kids, including adults who love trains. Actually able to ride the rails on an antique train.

My wife and I took our mother to the museum for their wildflower ride. The train goes out the tracks towards the bay for about 30 minutes, then reverses course and returns to the museum. There were not many wildflowers, but that did not diminish...More

We visited this museum the day after their "members day" and it was very quiet and peaceful. Our ride on the 1913 electric train was delightful since we were the only passengers. Our conductor and lineman gave us personal attention and lots of historical information....More
