About
An educational experience from the moment young visitors step through the door, the museum features hands-on, play-based exhibits enhancing a child's understanding of the world. Over a dozen different environments recreate the ambience of a small city. At each exhibit, there are tools and/or machines that can be manipulated by the children, who perform tasks of merchants, bankers, doctors or grocery shoppers. Face painting, field trips, summer camps and birthday parties are also available.

We've gone to this place a few times now with our 3 and 4 year old daughters. There is A LOT to do here for kids!! They have a separate play area sectioned off for children under 3, they have vehicles kids can play in (cop car, fire truck, ambulance, bus, and motorcycle), they have a grocery store, water play area, and much, much more. This place easily keeps our girls entertained for a few hours. Highly recommend this place!

I came here with my family for a short visit just to pass the time. Every time I do, I still feel the same excitement from when I was little. The interactive exhibits keep the child happy and busy, and you feel good about it because they are learning. Just a short distance from the marina and theatre.

Great place to take your children...hand’s on exhibits to teach and connect to the life style and history of the Central Valley. Plenty of free parking.

I have been here for fundraisers and never with children. Well, I was watching my 3 grandchildren ages 5, 4 and 2. They had a wonderful time. They loved the bus and ambulance. Had to drag them away—didn’t bring snacks and they don’t have anything for sale. The toy soldiers have been repainted. Love this place! Next time I will bring lunch so we can stay longer.

I love this museum! I took my nephews there and they had a blast! It’s all completely hans on and the kids get to learn life lessons through playing. Its a lot of fun, even to just watch the excitement on their faces.

I've taken my grandkids to the Children's Museum in Stockton on a number of occasions. They absolutely love it there. There truly is so much to see and experience, including the fire truck, police vehicle, ambulance, playhouse. slide, market, vet's office just to name a few. It's a great experience for younger children.

A great place to take your young children. Inter-active play areas and a learning environment. Kids love it because they can work at McDonalds or see the things used in a specific setting. They can run and play in an indoor building and be safe.

The museum is well run. There is a good variety of displays and activity areas to keep a wide age-range of children occupied and educated. It is located in a slightly shabby part of town, but that should not be a deterrent ti visit it.
