We visited this gorgeous winery during the first of five stops on a wine tour with A Taste of San Francisco and Beyond. The winery itself is gorgeous, with sweeping views of the valley, picnic/garden areas, a tasting room, and a patio. The pourers were very informative and took the time to talk us through each wine. We were there... More

The winery is set in a beautiful location, and nicely laid out. The main thing I didn't like about the visit was the rushed nature of the tasting. We did the tasting of five wines and I think it lasted less than five minutes. The samples were also very small - perhaps 15ml - so it wasn't really possible to... More

Viansa winery was our first stop on our wine tasting tour in Sonoma, Ca. It was recommended by our friend because it has good wine and one of the better views. There were two wine tasting counters surrounding the little marketplace that they have on property. The tasting counters were very crowded and took a few minutes to find an... More

In 2008, my husband and I visited this winery and it left a lasting impression. While in Sonona in May 2014, we visited again. We had a picnic lunch on the grounds and then went into the tasting room to buy some wine for dinner. The tasting fee is only $5 and you can pick any four wines to taste.... More

Every trip I take to the Sonoma area, I have to stop here! I think this was my 4th or 5th stop... I love it so much that I finally joined the wine club since the wines aren't distributed. Bob L. was our wine pourer on my most recent trip and he was a joy to chat with!

The winery is gorgeous and peaceful with almost deafening birdsong. Wow. We turned up at noon on a beautiful mid-week day to find the place almost deserted and no pizzas from the empty brick oven. Boo. We suspect that if we had been able to enjoy a pizza here we would have been able to give 5*. We'd love to... More

Viansa is a nice winery for the views. They do wine tasting, as well as sell wine by the glass or bottle. Buy a glass, perhaps get some food (packaged deli goods for most part) and enjoy the views. Some weekend days they have barbecues as well - check their web site to find out when. Wine tasting experience is... More

Was not impressed with the wines, but the view and atmosphere was beautiful. The winery overlooks miles of wetlands.

We enjoyed some good wine on the patio surrounding the Winery. The views are spectacular, as you can see for miles. The tasting room is quite busy and seems like a very popular 'stop' for tours. The setting and architecture reminded us of Europe. A unique style of winery!
