We stopped at Beuna Vista for the history (as it is the oldest winery in Sonoma) and the wine. We got a couple of bottles for the four of us, sat outside at their picnic tables, and enjoyed our prepacked picnic. It was the perfect...More

This is a must stop when your out and about tasting wine. Not your typical tasting room but an interesting historic location with nice wine. Park your car and head down the driveway, stopping at the Maze and follow along to their main wine building....More

Pricey wine tasting but that's Sonoma for you. The selection was just O.K. Took awhile to get served and the tasting area isn't suitable for lots of people. Felt crowded with just the ten or so people who were there. Beautiful grounds and easy to...More

We visited the Buena Vista Winery as part of a Segway tour. The grounds and buildings were exceptionally beautiful, the wines that we sampled were very good, and the history of the estate was very interesting.

You can do a tasting or buy a bottle and relax here. I would bring my own picnic rather than purchase there.

We did. The Count was great. There were eight of us and we all enjoyed this a lot. We plan to take friends next month so they, too, may enjoy this fun, informative experience.
