Gloria Ferrer, the first sparkling winery in Carneros, features award winning sparkling wines from our estate in Sonoma and inspirational views from our Vista Terrace. Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards is a must visit stop on your exploration of Sonoma. We are open by appointment on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are happy to welcome walk-ins Monday to Thursday.

We were recommended this winery and it did not disappoint! If you like bubbly, rose & whites this is your place! We did the tapas tasting with 4 different wines, Chris explained the wines very elk and made recommendations as to which tapas we chose went well with which wine, he was spot on!

We have been wine club members since around 2012. We live in Tennessee so we don’t get out to wine country very often. We have spent $$$$ with GF over the years as we receive regular shipments from them.
We and 6 friends from Tennessee went for 2 weeks in wine county. We saved the “best” for our last day before returning home because we knew our friends like sparking wine. Plus the views are incredible and one couple was celebrating 35 year anniversary. We bragged about it for days. We made reservations well in advance.
Upon arrival, we were told we had to sit outside (very cold) but they brought heaters. We overlooked the parking lot. We were told upstairs indoors was strictly for food pairings.
It was sad. There were many tables upstairs indoors available the entire time we were there.
We belong to several clubs but this one may be off our list. We just felt like a number.

We’ve driven past this this for 10 years, and now we’re kicking ourselves for not having ever stopped *facepalm*…the outside area is fantastic; even with a bit of rain, it was a spectacular view, and the wines are legitimately delightful. A truly interesting sparkling flight, and Amy poured some fascinating selections. She is a treasure (and so is the gentleman working on the terrace, I feel terrible that I don’t remember his name), and we’re so grateful that she shared a little time and knowledge with us. We’ll be bringing our out of town visitors here from now on. Thank you!

Not a good experience for the money. Not much of a wine tasting experience. Bathrooms far from tables. Waitress was a robot repeating a message. She was ok, but other places are much better

Absolute WORST member experience! They can’t fit you in for a pickup with promised member tastings. Go elsewhere!!!!!

My cousin and I enjoyed a fabulous tasting on their amazing veranda last Sunday. Our host, Rob, was an absolute delight! He was knowledgeable and personable -- a real joy. We watched him handle several large groups and one sort of 'high maintenance' table with ease. His 'floor show' kept us very entertained. He juggled it all and still made us feel special.
The view is incredible, staff were very nice and accommodating.
Oh - and the bubbles are amazing! Truly wonderful wine!

The grounds are beautiful, the sparkling wine was excellent, and the service was top notch. This is a great stop on the Napa Sonoma wine tour if you’re into sparkling wine. Big fan

Not worth it. I’ve been a club member for 5 years now and since the new ownership the club experience has gone down hill. Prices keep going up and they don’t even seem to care that you’re a member when you visit or call to make a reservation. For what you get,it’s just not worth it. They are clearly more focused on making a much money as possible vs. delivering a memorable, accessible experience.

A friend and I enjoyed our wine tasting today at Gloria Ferrer. The deck is beautiful and our server Victor paced the tastings perfectly, describing the four wines so that we could better enjoy them without being rushed. Will definitely go back.

We came here for the 3 course lunch with sparkling pairings. The terrace views of the property during our lunch was beautiful. Our servers Rob and Jaleel were professional yet fun, and very knowledgeable-top notch! The food was delicious and perfectly portioned and the sparkling wines were excellent and a nice change of pace for the day. It was the perfect stop in the middle of the day for food, views, and sparkling wine.

We are coming from Sacramento area in mid-October. We love Gloria Ferrar and would very much like to visit your winery. Do we need reservations for tasting? I understand that we do for a guided tour.

There is always seating available but most people don’t want to sit inside or want to wait for a better seat.
There is two searing areas and unless you come at a peak time.. 2-4 on a Saturday you won’t have to wait. If you just want to try the wines there will most likely be seating inside near the bar. Good luck
