I was given a gift-an Audi experience. This was a tutorial session at the beginning, then driving a sport sedan around the pylons and into some corners. A lunch was provided- and then it happened Driving an R8- the fastest car I have ever driven. First we followed an instructor, then we were cut loose. a once in my lifetime... More

Overall had a nice time at Sonoma...definitely plan for the traffic. Got there well over 2 hours early and sat in traffic. Race was great, make sure you check out various vantage points. Some places you can walk right up to catch fence and see the action. Get ready to walk (from parking on a cliff to all around the... More

After seeing this track on TV for many years we thought we'd detour to check it out. Well worth the effort. There was a track day on so the facility was open. Had a great chance to wander around and enjoy the sights. Also a great gift shop.

Having been to quite a few road course tracks I was not prepared for the magnitude of Sonoma. The 'gift shop' alone if unlike any other. From t-shirts to driving suits and motor oil to models they have it all. The fan support is nothing short of outstanding. Viewing is available at almost every turn, the timing tower can be... More

This is the best road course out there. Parking at times can be a bit difficult, get there early on event days. Food has greatly impoved.

Was there for the IndyCar Series 2015 final. Great facility! Would highly recommend visiting, even if you're only passing by.

I had not been here since the early 1990s, but returned to watch the IndyCar race in August and it I was very impressed. They have made so many improvements! We had reserved seats in the upper grandstands behind the pits, and across from the start finish line. Our seats were shaded, and we could had excellent visibility. I could... More

I'm not sure why they have changed the name from Sears Point to Sonoma Raceway... The track looks fun and there are several viewpoints you can drive to to overlook it. The shop has a variety of t-shirts at a decent price as well as racer gear.

As a spectator, there are several locations where you can get close, unobstructed sightlines to the track, which is great if you're an amateur photographer. It can get really hot here, so bring water. As an HPDE participant, the track is very challenging and technical. There are lots of walls to hit, so I drive conservatively here. If you are... More

We went to the races because a family member was racing. Our tickets were held at the office. Two young woman were handling the envelopes. We got ours and headed for the gate. At the gate we were told our tickets were for the day before. "What? The day before?" I said to her, she says ya, read the ticket... More
