Disclaimer: Sonoma is the most dangerous track in Northern California. I've seen more wrecks here than anywhere else in the Bay Area. There are walls everywhere and it is totally unforgiving. I do not recommend this track for beginners. HOWEVER, Sonoma is also my favorite track. The speed you can cary through the uphill esses is awesome, the technicality of... More

Had to do while in CA had to see a NASCAR race series when in the US on holiday. The occasion and passion of this type of racing was there to see. From the pre race to the finish it was a spectacle to see. Patriotic people and event (F16 fly over was awesome) with obvious car make favourites... Lots... More

This is a great track and the area has great views. Be prepared for hot hot weather! The food and drinks are really good, only draw back was the traffic, get there early.

I am rating the grounds and promoters not the course. As for the course, this track is a nice road course. And the event is fun. BUT.... This particular event was and is and most likely will remain a mess with traffic. In bound requires patience to get to your parking area. They (staff) do try to get you into... More

This was one of the best races that I had been to. The location is in a great location for great weather in the summer month of June...

Always love coming to Sonoma Raceway for NASCAR. I bring my entire family and we camp out at 50 acres campground. Its super affordable and family friendly. Security is really good and I love the Ferris Wheel. There is always good food available and staff is very Friendly.

Sonoma Raceway is Fabulous. The twists & turns of the track create anticipation as the drivers run the road course. The Drags are my favorite & love the Friday Night when the 'big boys/girls' are racing the top fuels & funny cars. IndyCar comes in August for a bit of style racing!. I love coming to this track and watching... More

Wonderful racetrack! Lots of high and slow speed stuff and a lot of elevation changes. If you don't have fun driving this track, choose another sport

This is not your ordinary oval track. Rather turns go up and down and around. As a spectator, I found it thrilling. The seating offers good views. The best race is the infinion in June. All those campers and RVs on the hill add to a true raceway experience.
