Hubby and I like to grab a local lunch to-go (Seaside Market or Sprouts) then come down to the picnic tables and watch the ocean while we sit and eat and ponder... There's a lovely little playground that always seems full of happy sound.

This is the main beach which has a lifeguard station, easy access to the beach, showers and toilets. There is a little but of parking, but this usually fills up quickly on a busy day. The beach was known as Pillbox for many years but was changed to Fletcher Cove about 30 years ago, named after the one of the founders... More

We escaped San Diego for Fletcher Cove for an afternoon, and we were so glad we did! It was about a $30 Uber ride (totally worth it) as we were able to enjoy the beach and walk along the fantastic California shoreline and enjoy a beautiful sunset. There is a playground and showers here as well - useful for rinsing... More

Just a couple block off Hwy 101, this park has equipment for small children, bathrooms, and an amazing view. There is also parking and beach access here.

Fletcher Cove park is great any time of the year. We usually have brunch on the 101, wander down to the park and the beach. Its the kind of place where a dog will skateboard past you, a family will be taking their Christmas card photos next to the beautiful Christmas tree with the beach behind them. You can often... Fantastic beach views. An artist's haven. Definitely worth one's while. Hard to find though, if one uses a GPS. ..... at least the one I had with my rental auto.

We "roughed" it this Thanksgiving with our bring-along Dinner of turkey sandwiches, salad, cranberry sauce, and chips. All bought from Cliffside Market in Cardiff, CA. Seaside has the best deli near the beach with a full line of groceries. We sat on the green grass bluffs over looking the ocean and watched the dolphins surf along with the human board... More

Maybe it was the season, but the weather was perfect and the setting beautiful. A wonderful place to park and walk with a family. Small playground but plenty of benches to sit and quietly take part in a relaxing day.

It is a cute park with small play area for kids, a couple of picnic tables, and a boat launch. Nice walk if you are in the mood to explore.
