The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is a must-see Southern California tourist attraction. Walk onboard Air Force One, act in a movie with Ronald Reagan, touch a piece of the Berlin Wall, and so much more.

Having worked in this sphere I have long known the Reagan Library to be the crown jewel in the network of NARA-administered libraries, and its founding director to have been a real all-star administrator and historian. The quality of the presentation and experience doesn't disappoint....More
We visited the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library while visiting family in Westlake Village. The library is easy to find from the highway, and very impressive as you drive up to the entrance. A holographic presentation of Mr. Reagan in the Oval Office greets the visitors...More
Seeing President Reagan's legacy and lasting influence from its inception (very well organized as you walk through, BTW) was remarkable. The library is perched up on a hill overlooking the surrounding rolling hills, and requires quite a bit of walking but we were not jostled...More
The library has many exceptional exhibits such as Ghengis Khan and Pompei. Nice to have a chance to see artifacts and historical memorabilia within easy traveling distance from Fresno to San Diego. Cafe food is expensive so make plans accordingly.
I cannot say enough about our visits to the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum. The building is beautifully designed and the surrounding grounds and landscape is a wonder. The library is a treasure with more unique exhibits than can be imagined. You leave with a...More
Had a great time exploring the place, overlooking beautiful scenery. The Presidential plane is definitely the highlight and extremely interesting to see from the exterior and also to be able to walk through it. Had a bite to eat on the outdoor patio in the...More
We love coming here and refresh our memories of this beautiful place, especially the area where #27000 plane is located. This time we focused on the Pompeii exhibit and it was very good. I have visited the real Pompeii, and this is a good representation....More
Location is amazing. Very well designed and prepared presentation of our 40th President. Air Force One was a most interesting exhibit. We happened to see ther Pompei exhibit on this visit, and that is worth it alone.
Visited specifically for Pompeii, if they isn't something you want to see, not worth going out of your way to see it. The library is a maze with no signs to tell you where anything is like the entrance, most doors are locked that are...More

When I researched the airports, we finally selected Bob Hope Burbank Airport because it was closest (27 miles) to Ronald Reagan’s Presidential Musem/Library. It was an easy drive from Burbank to the museum. I too looked at the John Wayne Airport which seemed a bit further away, 35 miles south of Los Angeles.
