The sparking wines at Iron Horse will make you forget Champagne. The rustic outdoor tasting bar overlooks the stunning Green River Valley, and sits in the midst of their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the still wines also...More
The tasting is standing along a rail in the gravel parking lot. You're separated from the rail by the servers and their set up so it's tough to really enjoy. We were there over this past weekend on a sunny, but not hot day, about...More

Visited yesterday and had a great time. The weather was perfect, views amazing and the staff was friendly and engaging. Their sparkling wine in many different varieties was excellent.
Reservations are required but if there is space they will let you in.

Iron Horse is my "go to" for out of town guests. If we only have time for one winery, this is it. Not only are all of the wines (sparkling, white and red) exceptional, the place itself is a treat. The view onto the vineyards...More

It would depend upon the age. We had 16 and 17 year olds with us and they were fine. But there's not much at ANY winery to interest/entertain children. Ours just love being with family so they were fine. But wineries, in general, are not an activity conducive to children. Simply my opinion.
