Stroll around Saratoga Village and enjoy the views, the restaurants, coffee shops and places to taste wine. There is also a nearby Park, Wildwood Park, and Hakone Gardens. It's not a shopping mecca but there are some gift shops and a nice art gallery. Also...More

We stayed here because we were going to an event nearby. Saratoga is much much smaller and not as interesting as Los Gatos, but it is also much less crowded. There are several nice shops and restaurants. We really liked our hotel, the Inn at...More

OK. I admit it: I live here in paradise. Our little village is the best. We love trees; we love flowers.

A sleepy little town with several very good restaurants, a few banks, a couple of hotels and several small businesses... no business chains can be found with the exception of a Starbuck's on the very edge of the village. All the businesses are located on...More

This small town has successfully resisted the trend toward over the-top-tree lights, expensive boutiques, and other unappealing characteristics that now characterize Palo Alto and surrounding wannabes. It's small, 1950s-ish, quaint, and tiny.

Has fun Halloween parade for the kids annually, and the shopkeepers are really nice about giving the kids treats. And Wildwood Park is just off the downtown strip, and it's a great place for kids, also.

First went to the bookstore where I found an antique treasure for a dollar. Then walked to Big Basin Way. There are fine cafes and restaurants, art stores, and boutique clothing stores. The stores are not too expensive. European look, American hospitality. It's a great...More

Saratoga Village has very little tourist appeal. There are some new restaurants that may draw some people. It is a lazy, local community with several banks, restaurants and no foot traffic. Very little reason to visit as a tourist
