I love going wine-tasting in Santa Ynez, and have the wine glass collection to prove it. The countryside is beautiful, the wineries are fun and friendly, and in my experience its not crowded. Oh, and the wines are great.

We love the Santa Ynez Valley and have been coming for many years. I like it as it is a lot less pretentious than Napa. We go up a few times a year and love the vibe, wines, etc.

Lovely inland valley full of Arabian horse ranches; vineyards; lavender farms and an exotic little Danish town. The place has a pleasant make-believe vibe and lots of good food and drink.
