This winery has great grounds, facility, food, atmosphere, and the Petitte Syrah is magnificent. It tastes like a baby Opus One with the blueberry pie flavors and some under notes of cherry and mild cinnamon.
The black pepper caesar salad was also fantastic as well. We lived stopping at Roblar for lunch.
If you goto the area, then you must stop in for lunch.

Very pleased to find out that in addition to daily lunch and fabulous brunch on the weekends, Roblar is now serving dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. Is very good and the wines and location make it even better. A great dinner option in the SY Valley.

The people at Roblar seriously do not care about return customers. They just want your money and it's obvious. No manners or courtesy and the food was old, cold and tasteless. Don't waster you time.

We’ve been members at Roblar & Buttonwood for a while. There was an extremely rude interaction with one of their staff that continued to escalate. The owners daughter, Callie Gleason, then wrote an extremely offensive email. When I responded, she lied and said “since you used profanity, your membership is hereby cancelled Al all Gleason wineries. “ Luckily, my wife witnessed the interaction. There was never any profanity used. I’m not that guy. I believe both Callie and the staff person racially profiled me. There are absolutely no words to say! Most of the staff is very rude and their attitude is inappropriate. They had a happy hour in Westlake Village and ran out of food in the first 1/2 hour. The restaurant indicated that Callie was told that the food would run out. Cheap!! They hurried and made plain cheese pizzas. It was a terrible experience!!

We had an outstanding facility tour and then a wine & food pairing for lunch. David Burrola and Giomara Parker were excellent hosts with a wealth of knowledge! Thanks to Callie who organized our visit. The lunch was exceptional. It was a 4-course lunch and the selected wines were paired perfectly. The Chef’s farm-to-table lunch selections were delicious. (they also have a farm where they grow their veggies and salad ingredients. The owner, Mr. Gleason, visited with us at lunch and we felt special. This experience was far better than expected.

Roblar has always produced consistently solid wines and their facilities are fantastic. Service he’s been inconsistent over the last decade or so, but this visit was fantastic. The staff took great care of us and the charcuterie and cheese board was awesome.

Had high hopes as it's beautiful. The wine was fine, the service was lacking knowledge and the pour was barely a taste. Had a better experience at other wineries.

Came here with a bachelorette party and wow were we impressed. The place is beautiful, the wines were delicious and the staff was so helpful and kind. By far the highlight of our day on a tour of 3 different locations. Our group of 7 had a mix of tastes and Nancy offered alt options and made sure everyone was taken care of. She even brought out sparkling wine 1st so we could cheers the bride. We only ordered the olives, but they were delicious. Everything coming out of the kitchen though looked delicious. Can’t wait to come back!!!

One, if not the only, winery in Santa Ynez valley that serves lunch on the premises. For us lightweights, we need food throughout our tasting day; Roblar's was perfect for us. Minutes outside of Los Olivos, Roblar's has an abundance of outdoor seating, ample parking, comfy sofas, and picturesque views -- albeit not as nice as some of the other wineries in the area. The menu is not expansive, but everything we had was a homerun -- the charcuterie board, the homemade hummus and pita chips, the Spanish chorizo and manchego panini, and the daily special buttermilk fried chicken with homemade cornbread! We had the classic wine tasting menu ($15 for four wines) with our meal and it complemented our food perfectly. Was it the best wine we had in the area? No. But were they quite good? You bet! Our server was professional, friendly, and very informative about both the wine and the winery. Our go-to lunch spot next time we're in the valley.

Six of us visited Roblar winery on a rainy Monday. It was the only day we could all get together to celebrate Christmas. They don’t offer their food and wine pairing on a Monday but we bought several à la cart items from their refrigerated case to create our own charcuterie. Our host, Brian, was absolutely fabulous. He was friendly, entertaining and extremely helpful. Brian opened all the individual packages and created a beautiful charcuterie for us, all the while engaging in uplifting conversation with us. He helped make appropriate wine choices for each of us and we bought bottles of wine for the table. Roblar Winery is excellent, we were all very pleased with our choices. Their prices are reasonable and in line with most other wineries in the area. Unfortunately with the rain we could not experience the beautiful patio. Instead we enjoyed the fireplace and exquisite Christmas tree. We had a wonderful afternoon.
