This is an intimate winery in the Russian River Valley area that's worth a visit. If you don't like large, corporate, crowded tasting rooms with busy pourers handing you a tasting menu and walking away, this place is for you. This feels like an intimate...More

Woodenhead Wines proves you don't have to have a huge vineyard to be a major player in the Russian River Valley. Nestled among all the huge wineries such as Le Crema and Martinelli lies the Woodenhead Wines tasting room right off of the River Road...More

We stopped in here on our way back from a day in the wine region. Glad we did! We tasted many Pinot Noirs and Zinfandel. We liked the Zin but loved the Pinot! Great views from the tasting room and patio.

This winery is in the hills of Sonoma Valley with a great view. If you like red wines, they have a great selection as well as some white wines to compliment the reds. I would definitely recommend the stop.

Our family gathered here for a wine tasting and picnic to celebrate Sue's birthday. Beautiful views from the deck and generous pours from the staff. We bought several bottles to enjoy with our picnic and to take home. The 2008 Zin is amazing!
