We went to Spring Lagoon, where is a water park and a small shore (4-6 feet depth). Place is very nice, lots of shade, with tables and BBQ. Also a place to grab some bites. All place are with lifeguards and with plenty of space...More

Love walking around the lake, taking in the scenery, and seeing all the families out and about with their kids and dogs. Not to strenuous walk around. Have done it before lunch with a friend. Good way to work up an appetite. Highly recommended.

The last three weekends in September are dedicated to dogs! We always mark the calendar to go to the Dog Bark event. Nice place to relax in the sun or plenty of shade. Food there is yummy and prices are decent.

I went here with my sister and our teenage kids. The lake is more of a pond/ large puddle. The water is dirty and the beach is more dirt then sand. And there are Canadian geese everywhere. The geese poop is all over the grass,...More

Widely used by locals for walking and picnics. It has easy walking paths that can be combined to make for a longer walk. Very nice to walk and look at the ducks on the lake. It can get busy on holidays and some weekends but...More

Took a nice long walk around the park. Beautiful park with a lot to do. The front parking lot fills up fast but there are a lot of other places to park. There is a carousel and train, snack bar, restrooms... These could be part...More

Santa Rosa has more than 60 parks but this is one of the favorites of locals. Located just west of the larger Annadel Park, its centerpiece is a large, peaceful lake (reservoir) used for swimming, kayaking, boating, and fishing. Two entrances with the main on...More

Spring Lake was a great find. We walked around the lake about 2 miles. We were entertained by a swan, met 3 artists painting with watercolors, and several photographers. It was an easy walk as the path was paved. A very nice peaceful day.

You can definitely hang out but no swimming after Labor Day. Bring a picnic, hike, relax.

This would not be the place to for seeing blooming trees. I'm embarrassed to admit, living here my entire life, that I can't think of a place here where you can experience that. Sorry. Hope this makes it to you.
