Love walking around the lake, taking in the scenery, and seeing all the families out and about with their kids and dogs. Not to strenuous walk around. Have done it before lunch with a friend. Good way to work up an appetite. Highly recommended.

The last three weekends in September are dedicated to dogs! We always mark the calendar to go to the Dog Bark event. Nice place to relax in the sun or plenty of shade. Food there is yummy and prices are decent.

I went here with my sister and our teenage kids. The lake is more of a pond/ large puddle. The water is dirty and the beach is more dirt then sand. And there are Canadian geese everywhere. The geese poop is all over the grass,...More

Widely used by locals for walking and picnics. It has easy walking paths that can be combined to make for a longer walk. Very nice to walk and look at the ducks on the lake. It can get busy on holidays and some weekends but...More

Took a nice long walk around the park. Beautiful park with a lot to do. The front parking lot fills up fast but there are a lot of other places to park. There is a carousel and train, snack bar, restrooms... These could be part...More

Spring Lake was a great find. We walked around the lake about 2 miles. We were entertained by a swan, met 3 artists painting with watercolors, and several photographers. It was an easy walk as the path was paved. A very nice peaceful day.

This is a beautiful park , paved walking trail so handicap accessible . Lots of different birds . It is next to a state park for a more rugged hiking.

A bucolic country setting: small lake, wildlife, joggers, locals out for a stroll. Santa Rosans go here to relax and enjoy time off. You should too!

This park is by far one of the most beautiful places to visit in Sonoma County. Beautiful views and it is very peaceful.

You can definitely hang out but no swimming after Labor Day. Bring a picnic, hike, relax.

This would not be the place to for seeing blooming trees. I'm embarrassed to admit, living here my entire life, that I can't think of a place here where you can experience that. Sorry. Hope this makes it to you.

If you are looking for spring flowers, you may be disappointed with Spring Lake Park. While there certainly are flowers in the meadows, they are subtle. Yesterday, I saw only one small section which had a large number (maybe... More
