Lots happening on the Santa Monica Pier. You can walk the pier in a few minutes or you can choose to spend the day.

We walked to it about 40 blocks. Not to crowded and a lot to see. We played on the beach and went into the ocean. Lots of rides and places to see.

Always bustling and full of life but it's also a tourist trap heaven with lots of street artists and sub par restaurants with high prices. Come take photos, enjoy the views and then hit the beach.
