Stunning drive along the cliffs, nice road-side park and surf museum in the Lighthouse, definitely worth the traffic and crowds to watch the surfers, and possibly catch a glimpse of whales, sea lions, and other wildlife!

If you're visiting Santa Cruz and want to see the ocean, walk West Cliff Dr ! A very easy walk with a wide walk path along the road. There are restrooms at the lighthouse and the most beautiful view of Monterey Bay.
