Longest Wharf in the US and Many nice restaurants
Very nice wharf. Touted as the longest in the United States, it is a nice walk. It's dotted with mostly sea food restaurants, mostly sit down types. We enjoyed Woody's Cafe, a more related and moderate priced venue. Walking distance to the Boardwalk and lots of parking on the wharf itself. There were many sea lion below the wharg which you can see and hear through large openings on top. While there is a seafood market there, too pricy to feed the sea lions.

Nah, don’t bother unless ya like trinkets and mediocre foods
Mostly tourist shops filled with trinkets and tshirts and “those” .restaurants. All the usual overpriced seafood joints. Guessing locals only go there when family or friends are visiting. But nice views are always goodJ

    Amazing Day Out!
Santa Cruz Wharf is well known for fishing, boat tours, dining, gift shops and a beautiful long pier. We visited on a Sunny day and walked along the Pier, visited the gift shops to buy some souvenirs Tees and had lunch at Olitas Mexican Restaurant. At the end of the Pier, we could see and hear the Sea Lions as well as the sail boats. This was our second visit and would love to visit again.

    SEA LIONS!
You can't go out on the Warf without seeing sealions. It is impossible. We spent about an hour watching them hunt, which was really fun. They bark and play and are delightful to watch. Then we rented a kayak and were able to kayak with them (don't get too close, there are laws about that). Even though I see sea lions often at home, it was a thrill to see SO many of them (literally thousands) in one place and to watch their hunting behavior.

What can you say but happy people having fun while looked after by a competent and well-trained staff.
I really felt like an honoured guest!

Longest wooden wharf in USA.
Lots of nice restaurants to choose and at the very end hundreds of noisy sea lions that jump into the water from the lower poles.
Awesome sunset views.

We visited the Wharf for dinner. We parked/walked on the pier and had our dinner. The on pier parking is very convenient and the pier offers ocean breezes and great views of the boardwalk and harbor.

I visited Santa Cruz so many times, I wonder how did I miss the wharf.

They do have lot of parking on the wharf itself ($3/hr).
Nice place for a nice walk. lovely view of Santa Cruz. Take some pictures at sunset
Lots of good seafood restaurants with good views

I did like the beer garden, high quality craft beers from Bumble Sea local brewery

I parked on the wharf, shopped around and ate breakfast food for lunch at Gilda's Family Restaurant.
I came for the sea lions and saw so many of them. Both in the water and resting. I loved seeing them porpoise, swimming, sleeping, etc. I came at high tide.
Saw several harbor seals too.
If it had been sunny that day, it would have been better, but I still had a good day with the seals and sea lions.

Enjoyed strolling down the windy Wharf, catching some good views of Santa Cruz beach and boardwalk, including when the fog obscured both! Interesting posters of the Wharf history, and lots of sea lions resting on the girders, supplied some general interest, and there was a selection of restaurants to choose from. Apparently this is the longest warf in the US. Interesting in itself. If you visit Santa Cruz, I would say a 'must do'. Well, why not?!
