A pleasant walk with great views out to sea, the Boardwalk and the beach. Seals are a regular attraction. Some great places to eat - either sit-down or just seafood at one of the kiosk vendors.

Star performers were the seals, nude sunbathing mid-way up the pier. Funny how watching them doing nothing at all was so fascinating. It was like a zoo out there, standing only 10 feet away from those lazy animals! Don’t know about allowing cars to drive...More

Great views of the Bay, Boardwalk, surfing, sea life. If you don't go to the wharf you've missed out on local shopping...check out the stores that have items from local artists! Watch and listen to the sea lions resting underneath. It can be breezy even...More

It was great to walk on the Wharf and see all the shops and restaurants. The Sea Lions are another attraction and it was good to be able to see them especially at the end of the Wharf.

It's nice - touristy. Compare to Monterey, Santa Monica,... it's nice when you're there. Splash is a fun restaurant with a rotating platform, some shops - so if you're there, it's good for a stroll or run but not a destination.

Lots of parking for a price. Lots of restaurants and gift shops. The best part however is the views of the ocean, beaches, and boardwalk. A good way to enjoy a warm day and a nice walk.

We went to SC for weekend and I ran the wharf every morning- beautiful run! My teenagers came with me one morning and stopped for clam chowder which they are for breakfast! Very friendly people and a scenic view!

We recently returned from Santa Cruz and had a nice time there. The wharf is basically the main strip alongside the beach in Santa Cruz. It is very scenic, great for people watching (sand volleyball games going on, etc.) and has some nice shops and...More

The wharf is very nice to take a romantic stroll on with quaint little shops and restaurants to grab a bite or a drink if you prefer. I highly recommend stopping and visiting the seals and sea lions as they are always a site. However,...More

We came on a gray, cool morning, and the wharf was pretty quiet. We enjoyed the views and the barking sea lions. We didn't really go into the (touristy) shops. There is parking on the wharf, but we did street parking about a block away.

Just south of San Luis Obisbo (Central Coast) off highway 101. A 3 hour drive south from Santa Cruz Wharf. Pismo Clams are big & famous. Certain times of the year people dig for them and have parties with clam chowder & such... More

I didn't see anything that big parked on the wharf. There is a lot of parking by the amusement park on the boardwalk, so I would try there. If you are staying in the rv, sea cliff state beach has rv spots right on the ocean... More
